Dear A.G.N.E.S. Nursery Parents,

The Essex Early Years Team have asked that we share with you some of the transition opportunities for parents of 2021 school starters.

A number of the local schools will be uploading virtual tours of their school to their individual school websites.  This is a way that you can see the schools and to decide which will be the best fit for your child.

Currently you can find virtual tours for: John Ray Infants, Beckers Green Primary on their website. John Buynan are hoping to have theirs loaded this week.

While Lyons Hall have sent a link to their virtual tour. You will find it below.:

We hope that these are a help to you and your decision making process.

Sincerely,

The A.G.N.E.S. Team

9.11.2020

Dear A.G.N.E.S. Nursery Parents,

The Essex Early Years Team have launched a 'Childcare in Essex - Parents' View Survey. It would be very helpful if you could complete the survey so they can see and plan for any or all areas of Childcare that might need changes due to Covid-19.  The link below will be live until the 24th November.

NOTICES

DROP IN SESSIONS STILL JUST £10

We are still offering drop in sessions for just £10. These are for all children and the child does not have to attend our nursery regularly. These are great for one off mornings or afternoons and a perfect opportunity to get some shopping done.

SNACKS

You will be required to bring a healthy snack for your child for each session, which means 2 snacks  if they are in all day. We encourage you to send in a piece of fruit as snack to encourage healthy eating habits. However understand this is not allows possible.

Please remember we are a nut free nursery.

These snacks must be sent in a container/baggie and stored in their lunch box or a named container if not attending the lunch session.  This is a new safety protocol to limit cross- contamination and exposure to possible viruses as set out by Government Covid-19 guidance.

Due to allergies we ask you not to bring nuts or nut based products into the nursery.

READY FOR AUTUMN

As the warm weather is upon us could you please send your child in with suitable named sunny weather outerwear ie. Sun hat, as we will still be using our outdoor area.

FUNDRAISING

If you shop online for gifts, groceries or for the home and garden? Shopping online from Asda, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Amazon, the list really does go on and on. Please check our page on the easy fundraising website for donations that could be made, at no extra cost to you.

SAFETY REMINDER

The external door can only be locked from the inside. If a member of staff does not follow you to lock it please come back and ask someone to do this. Thank you.

PARKING
You will find that the parking space directly in front of the side entrance has been removed as a parking space to allow safe socially distancing queuing to take place.  So please be aware of the children and parents queuing in this space or exiting at various times of the day.
Please
remember to park with care and consideration at the Church making sure that people can get out of their drive ways and pedestrians can still use the path. Thank you for your co-operation with this matter.

HEAD LICE

Throughout your child's school life they may come in contact with head lice.
Please ensure to check your child's hair on a regular basis.

FEES

Please remember to pay your fees on time as we are a charity run nursery and rely on payments for rent and staff salaries.  If you have any questions regarding fees please contact Jane Jansen email jansen.92@outlook.com
